He's working leaps and bounds now! I wonder how Donkey Kong 64 runs on it.

I can only hope someone is able to help him make it working on multiple core processors to get speed boosted.

I took a look at his Github page for the project and the code is really quite good quality.

I would love to try this, unfortunately I'm having troubles getting the BIOS to work...

So, anyone know the system requirements for this?

An SSSE3-capable CPU(Core 2 Duo and higher, AMD Bulldozer/Bobcat/Piledriver?), *nix-based OS or Windows, and a game controller of some sort(it doesn't have keyboard input yet I don't think). That's all, I think. It uses software rendering, so the GPU doesn't really matter.

Then I shouldn't have any issues running it? For some reason I thought it'd be a lot higher ;) :D Hopefully sound can be implemented :p

Probably not, but I wouldn't expect stellar performance on almost any PC, heh.
I guess that's to be expected, it still is a WIP after all :D I'll probably fry my CPU running any software-accelerated emulator lol

I've been really impressed with Marathon Man's progress so far. I'm eager to see when he adds sound, although I know that's a ways off.

I'm wary of cycle-accurate emulators frying my Core i5 3570 :D
