WIll it screw something up? because I know I can just find the queue file but the 3 of them I don't know which to rename so it will work. TY There ccd, img, and sub. Which do I alter to reflect the rename? And do I need cue files for them to work as perfect as can be for ISO's? Or can I delete the cue files?
Sorry I forgot to update as I was using clone cd as UtraISO was giving me issues. Clone CD has an option to make a cue file. I can just scrap the cue files then right?
You can also leave out that option.
cue it's for compatibility with other sofware (because img and bin are the same).
It's better use ccd because it "links" also the .sub file, very important for libcrypt protection (based on subchannels)
So if I only am using for emulation and never plan on reburning them, is it ok to just ditch the cue files and keep the 3 main clone cd file types? And thx. Also what about renaming the 3 clone cd files, will that screw up loading them in emu software?
For emulation and burning you need the .ccd, .img and .sub files.
Cue is useless (so you can delete it) because you should always select the ccd file if you can
So always load the ISO from the ccd? And does renaming all 3 files hurt them?
