Post your random gaming thoughtS!!

To start things off:

Treyarch's Call of Duty: Black Ops will be playable in stereoscopic 3D when it launches worldwide on November 9.

Publisher Activision said that the Xbox 360, PS3 and PC versions of the shooter will be compatible with 3D-ready HDTVs and 3D PCs utilising active shutter 3D glasses.

Treyarch studio head Mark Lamia said: "Development of stereoscopic 3D began as an R&D project, but once we saw what the technology brought to the Call of Duty experience, what a great fit and how immersive it was, we knew that we had to develop it for Black Ops.

"Aiming down the sights of your weapons, flying in helicopters, rappelling down mountains, and moving through highly detailed environments are just some of the awesome experiences you will have in 3D with Black Ops."

He added: "We made sure the experience is seamless for gamers to use with a simple menu option to enable stereoscopic 3D or disable it at any time whether playing in the single player campaign, multiplayer or Zombies."

Black Ops multiplayer was looking more ambitious than we imagined when we went hands-on last month.

Do what ya want cause....

I loved suikoden 2 as a kid, my fave game. Was never released here... :)
Got all 108 without a guide.. after like 5 playthroughs

I remember playing suikoden 4 on the PS2 by using an AR2 and swapping in a high TOC game using a knife, came up with the idea after the PS1 era when you could spring the lid open with an AR1. Freedom.

I did this before it was a thing, there were no ToC lists for games so I'd use every game I had to see what worked best. My suikoden 4 import would take 30 minutes to load some areas as a result. Never play suikoden 4 btw, it's awful, a horrible game. Suikoden V is great though.

Suikoden 2 > 5 > 1 > 3 >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>4

Haha, I did the same thing with 4 on ps2. I didn't like 3-5 much but loved the first 2. I played the first game the most because back then you couldn't -or at least I couldn't- find a copy anywhere, even had a hard time getting it working on an emulator for a long time.

I think they had a sale on them (PC Legacy of Kain games) on gog.com recently.

BTW Edna & Harvey is no longer bundled on GOG.com and they cost $35 for both games now.

I snagged both for $2.99 January 11th on gog.com.

The days where the PAL regions didn't get their JRPGs seem to be over, so you can always hope for a caring soul to decide to re-release the Xenosaga trilogy.
I know they seem to be, but still some of the greatest games are held back: Chrono Cross, Parasite Eve, Xenogears, Xenosaga 1 & 3, a few Tales of games (Abyss, Legendia), Suikoden III, just to name a few. Why Sony does not release them on EU PSN is beyond me, especially when most of them are on US store already while EU store (with a few exceptions) is utter rubbish when it comes to PS1 & PS2 games.

Suikoden I and II go for €150+ each on ebay btw :>

I don't know.

I am a big fan of Suikoden but I didn't like 5, it started too boring.

Didn't like the hero/heroine either.

2, 1 and 3 are the best imo.

I even played the DS version which was enjoyable.

I really don't understand Sony's policy either, so I lack the ability to give you an answer. I don't understand most marketing policies when it comes to localization.

That's actually cheap for a rare game if it comes with the box (even if used), so I'd buy it if it weren't off e-bay.

Nintendo isn't any better, they're worse than Sony. There are plenty of solid NES, SNES, N64 games that could be offered on the 3DS/Wii U that aren't and instead of letting you have them tied to an account like Sony did on the PS3/PSP, they're tied to the hardware and they can't be shared on the Wii U/3DS.

^ All they need to do now is to find a really large skip to chuck them out again.

Seriously, what was the point? To make an exclusive xbox one documentary apparently. Maybe collectors would want them too?

Maybe they should port an enhanced version to the xbox one: "ET HD". That would be funny.

I was asking myself the same thing. It all seems like a waste of money to me, despite the probable existence of profit.

I've sent a message to someones twitter account involved in the excavation. Hope I can buy a ET cart (one that wasn't crushed so bad hopefully) at a reasonable price.

Would be one hell of a collectors item imo as long as it doesn't stink to high heaven.
