Post your random gaming thoughtS!!

To start things off:

Treyarch's Call of Duty: Black Ops will be playable in stereoscopic 3D when it launches worldwide on November 9.

Publisher Activision said that the Xbox 360, PS3 and PC versions of the shooter will be compatible with 3D-ready HDTVs and 3D PCs utilising active shutter 3D glasses.

Treyarch studio head Mark Lamia said: "Development of stereoscopic 3D began as an R&D project, but once we saw what the technology brought to the Call of Duty experience, what a great fit and how immersive it was, we knew that we had to develop it for Black Ops.

"Aiming down the sights of your weapons, flying in helicopters, rappelling down mountains, and moving through highly detailed environments are just some of the awesome experiences you will have in 3D with Black Ops."

He added: "We made sure the experience is seamless for gamers to use with a simple menu option to enable stereoscopic 3D or disable it at any time whether playing in the single player campaign, multiplayer or Zombies."

Black Ops multiplayer was looking more ambitious than we imagined when we went hands-on last month.

Like I said, they'll wait till the modders are getting somewhere or Square itself starts doing something with it...

Besides, importing the game from Japan(amazon or something) and then buying the original because I don't actually have that either just so I might get it working on a half 1/5th finished fan patch...nope. I think I'll wait till they make a HD remake or put it up on steam, and if they don't...meh, their loss.

Actually it's 99% finished, apart from a few bugs. Like I said, whole English text is from the normal version, everything else is translated too.

Known issues (US version):

* Some items have wrong or missing descriptions.
* Some missing npc names (shop clerks in bhujerba).
* Wrong names in Pharos, when you look at the map for the first time.

PAL/UK version (all the above, plus)

* Missing text in bhujerba, when you're asked to press square button for the
first time.

More like your loss too, ZJS is quite better than normal License Board, it's like loot 2.0 in Diablo III, makes the game much better ;)

Auto purchase activated:

Note:
The original stream is smooth on niconico but somehow is crappy on youtube. The only thing i can complain about(not gonna stop me from buying it) is the battle system. Why in hell they keep changing it? it would be great to have the ability to select between new ones and old.
The only thing that could be wrong with the game at this point is the storyline imo.

The patch is basically done, I've used it before.

Judging by Square Enix latest FF storylines i'm really worried now but only time will tell. Still if the gameplay is awesome it may safe the game after all. For instance FF13 have a very bad story and annoying scenes yet i enjoyed the game from start to the end thanks to the paradigm battle system which in my opinion is the best of the series. Hope this one impress me with something else ;)

Then I guess you can understand my feelings about the game when I feel that out of all the battle systems in FF's, paradigm is the worst. The reason why I like FFX-2 more is because your progress in the game itself, especially crystarium, isn't completely controlled and collecting monsters is kinda fun. Gotta catch 'em all. I still don't like paradigm in it, although at least the game doesn't end when the leader gets KO'd so that's a small improvement I guess. But the point is that it at least has something to like, in the original I have nothing...except the hot blue/white girls scissoring each other to turn into a motorbike.

Well, I'm trying the zodiac hack/patch version, just through "other means" to see if it's worth it.

And Diablo III, the loot 2.0 made it better but then they ruined it again after they left the loot drop increase on, now it drops legendaries almost like rares. It feels so damn meaningless now.

Any idea how many gigabytes The Evil Within is going to weigh in at? I'm debating selling a few TF2 items since my lte service is suspended atm due to bogus Verizon wireless charges they refuse to resolve so I'm sitting on virtual cash since I can't use the items if I can't play atm. Is $59.99 the price for the normal release or some kind of collectors edition or directors cut, is there not a release for $49.99? Normally collectors editions or directors cuts go for $59.99+ unless this is some new trend with increasing the price of new releases but other games are still going for $49.99 new. I saw Bethesda is the publisher so I'm hoping it's not going to be as rushed or bugged as Skyrim then neglect fixing issues that eventually the community is stuck fixing.

1. Bethesda not only published but developed Skyrim, The Evil within is being done by another developer and Bethesda is only publishing the game.
2 Skyrim was in no way rushed, but due to the enormous size of the game being complications after launch was to be expected. Bethesda did a great job fixing core issues and even went out of their way offering the community things they wanted. As far as playing it strictly vanilla you don't need any community patches or fixes really, the game runs decent out of the box with the latest patches. The community patches and fixes are only really important if you mod your game.

I see, well I didn't really know the details. I realized I could probably google the requirements for how many GB's the game but often the Steam download is smaller than the hdd space required. I guess I got into the (bad) habit of asking questions that could be found by searching or on a page for requirements. :/

Hoping The Evil Within provides an experience on par with classic Resident Evil's has has that scared ****less psychological horror aspect the Silent Hill games had.

Yes i can. There have been always something positive about FF that kinda saved the rest for me even if i don't like the rest. Unlike you i love the paradigm tho. :p

Good bye beloved Killer Instinct... it was a great time and i enjoy it to the end. Sadly the awesomeness has come to and end after a company named "Iron Galaxy" took over. My hopes were high and i thought that seasson 2 will rock. Sure it would but if double healix were on charge... but now this new company came and it has done an awesome job in order to destroy the awesomeness.

Enough of silly talk.... F*UCK YOU Iron Galaxy!!!!!! F*UCK YOU Microsoft for not getting a better developer. Sorry for expressing myself that way but right now my blood is boiling. After downloading the latest seasson 2 update i just found out how crappy the game just turned. Now you can do weird moves in the air, block after getting hit, move like crazy, troll your oponent, do silly and almost neverending combos and no freaking balance in the gameplay. No wonder they came to the F*CKING idea to create Divekick as it seems to be the only game they could ever make by themselves(utter crap). Why not retiring if they knew they can't keep the awesomeness the way it was? WHY??? why not rotting in hell instead and leaving the F*CKING awesome game to someone who can deal with it?? DIE, JUST DIE!!!

Seriously..... GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!

^ Damn that sucks. Seems like a case of dumbing down for casuals/bads or maybe they just screwed it up cause they suck or for the hell of it. Would have made a nice PC release alongside SSFIV/USFIV but now I'm not so sure if it's as bad as you are saying and I doubt a PC release is within the realm of possibility now. :(

I pre-purchased The Evil Within, hoping the Steam download weighs in under 15GB and lives up to expectations. Hoping it's going to be similar to Silent Hill in the psychological horror aspect while there's elements familiar from Resident Evil games.

Would be better if the teams could get back together and create another proper Silent Hill or Resident Evil game. Still awaiting a PC release of Downpour but I don't think it will happen, it's been years since it's release on PS3/Xbox360. Konami should get onboard with PC and digital as PC is far more profitable now than it was with the growing popularity of digital distribution. People need to stop being such casuals as there's more than just call of duty and the same tired regurgitated first/third person shooters without any substance. The survival horror genre deserves more popularity and attention. Stupid gamers are why recent Resident Evil and Silent Hill games games are trash and the Resi/Silent Hill teams broke up with the publisher leaving publishers to milk the series running it to the ground.
