Ok, just installed that game and tried to make it work with X360CE as I tried (with success) with transistor before.
But first some info: my pad is a psx dual shock 2 (cabled) with a usb adapter like this one, and the game already recognizes it without X360CE (so there's some sort of direct input support), but the buttons are inverted (A mapped on Y and so on) and are not remappable ingame.
Tried first to identify the process and the dll invoked (like I did last time): the process is 32 bit (the devs already declared that they removed 64 bit distributions on steam until they fix some things) and the dll invoked (according to resource manager) is xinput1_3.
Tried also to use the 64 bit dll to be sure, tried to edit the inis like suggested last time (adding the lines suggested in the inputhook section, erasing all the lines regarding the second unused port on the adapter, etc.), but with no avail: the game doesn't map my buttons like X360CE does; also tried to invert the buttons in X360CE config, but the game seems not to accept it (even if the dll I placed in the game dir is used by the process as I can see in resource manager).
I need some help from somebody that already has the game and succeeded.
EDIT: I've read that xinput wrappers like X360CE are useless with games made with the unity engine (like Dreamfall chapter is): better if I stop trying?
