i have problema for play the games in resolution hd 1920x1080 with other emulators, example i use in epsxe filters but all time in scenarios have much pixels, this new emulator have support for high resolution?example filters for solve lines and bad graphics in high resolutions?
You can't stretch 320x240 background images to 1920x1080 and expect it to be perfect. No amount of filters will help you.
You can try using scanlines emulation to get CRT effect but that won't be perfect too.
As you can see, no text ashyness or prerendering background pixelation.

4xMSAL shader
I do think that the PCSXR team should make shader options for their video plugin and also make their own audio plugin because the plugin from Pete doesn't work very good on PCSXR.
PCSXR's video plugin also lags when using high settings unlike Pete's OpenGL 2.9 but PCSXR's video plugin fixes alot of transparency issues that Pete's OpenGL 2.9 still has.
thanks for the config and my craphic card 5770 vapor x have 128 bits and you copy a option for 256 mb..this affect my card if i chose the option 3 in Internal Y resolution: 3?
in shaders i have 4xSAI+NV is a bad idea?i need change?what plugin is more compatible with all games?i hate change each tiene XD,thanks
If it does have a slowdown on that int rez, you can always try to bump it down by 1. If you do bump it down, you may have to get another shader because that may make it become too blurry.
I recommend 2xSaL Smart or 4xMSAL. Just have to choose which best suits you. 4xSai doesn't look good to me. Especially on the 2D stuff.

thanks shinra!!now game look nice after i check with scanlines but not brightness but now with the number 192 in brightness look more real and same of psx.
brighntess scanlines is optimal in 192 or you recomended other number more high for more quality compared with psx?
Yes, I believe 192 is the optimal setting for the scanlines. Any higher and they will be invisible. Any lower and they will be too dark. But it is up to you whether you like scanlines or not.
Btw, if games give you small studders, change the Y internal rez to 2 instead of 3.
try a fullscreen resolution of 1600x900, tell me if it helps (may blur things a little more). if it's too blurry, then you may need a newer machine (or hardware) to game laglessly in 1080p. But first, try the default sound plugin. You only have 1gb of vram so you're probably not going to get perfect results.
well i decide buy the steam versión of ff8 but have pixel really bads...any ideas for fix this in 1920x1080?i check config in steam but the only change is the models of characters, scenarios have pixel and music work fine with a mod for have original ogg music.

I usually go for the simplistic. I don't like all those 10,000 settings in sweetfx. I mainly stick to only 3 across all gaming platforms. Those 3 include 'x' blur, or fxaa (depends on which looks better for that particular game), and scanlines (depending on the age of the game). I try to make it so not one bit of text is pixelated. As soon as I accomplish that, everything else for me is set. Other than that, nothing more. Unless you find some higher quality model mods that you want to test out. If you find mods like that though, it will dwindle the need to use filters (if you can find mods that will eventually update everything including the 2d backgrounds). I'm not familiar with any FF8 mods like that though (because I haven't looked).
