Doesn't work. There is no option to just use a file with no extension (XEBRA's memory card format is BU00/BU10 without any extension). Even when I do try to make a memcard file (I tried .mcr), and remove the extension, XEBRA still won't read it correctly.
Have you actually successfully made a XEBRA compatible memory card from a PS3 PSV save using your software, or are you just assuming it will work? Could you give me a step-by-step guide on how to do this if you have made a XEBRA compatible memory card from a PS3 PSV save using your software?
Um... there is. MemcardRex can open extensionless files if you choose "All files(*)" or drag and drop the file on the application.
But yeah, Xebra uses same raw format as most of the emulators (.mcr) but without extension.
Make sure that the save you are trying to import is of the same region.
If you are not sure make an ingame save on Xebra and then compare regions using MemcardRex.
Still doesn't work and yes, the save file is a US region save file with my US region game. I have uploaded it for you. Perhaps you can try it and see if the save is just faulty.
Actually the save does appear to be faulty.
This is the american save:
And this is japanese save:
And finally this is PSV:
It looks like someone mixed japanese save with the american product code and converted it to PSV...
I have no idea why somebody would do this as it appears that it's not working.
Or the PSN version of the game is just different and uses those kind of saves.
Well that sucks. I presume there is no way to convert it properly to a US compatible save?
