Post your random gaming thoughtS!!

To start things off:

Treyarch's Call of Duty: Black Ops will be playable in stereoscopic 3D when it launches worldwide on November 9.

Publisher Activision said that the Xbox 360, PS3 and PC versions of the shooter will be compatible with 3D-ready HDTVs and 3D PCs utilising active shutter 3D glasses.

Treyarch studio head Mark Lamia said: "Development of stereoscopic 3D began as an R&D project, but once we saw what the technology brought to the Call of Duty experience, what a great fit and how immersive it was, we knew that we had to develop it for Black Ops.

"Aiming down the sights of your weapons, flying in helicopters, rappelling down mountains, and moving through highly detailed environments are just some of the awesome experiences you will have in 3D with Black Ops."

He added: "We made sure the experience is seamless for gamers to use with a simple menu option to enable stereoscopic 3D or disable it at any time whether playing in the single player campaign, multiplayer or Zombies."

Black Ops multiplayer was looking more ambitious than we imagined when we went hands-on last month.

I agree but negativity is what make companies improve. I don't simply hate the DS4 because is a Sony product but because it could be so much better. For instance here are few of the reasons why i hate it that i never mentioned here:

1. Triggers feel bad in my opinion and even when lying somewhere they are triggered just by moving the gamepad.

2. The un-necessary touchpad(will be explained in point 3).

3. The "Option" button now which i have to look twice just to find it in order to pause a game. In previous DS versions it was natural and i'm used to have those in the middle just as the select button but that was changed because of the touchpad and added in a terrible place.

4. Analogs... my hands sweat very easy and my thumb constantly slip when pressing in different directions.

5. I have relative big hands and the curved back because of the front led bothers me a lot and gives me a uncomfortable feeling. In previous versions it was flat and great to hold.

6. The front led itself as i like to play with lights off at nights it bothers me a little(not a big deal though)

7. Battery life... i'm simply not used to have to charge my controller that often and wish for a better battery life without any need to mod my gamepad.

This is not negativity but more my frustration of a step back from a wonderful designed gamepad. In my opinion the DS3 was great and to be honest there is little you can do to improve it because in its default form is simply awesome. I can understand they wanted to improve the experience but in my opinion they just broke a well designed gamepad.

Now if we talk about negativity and bashing.... weren't the XB1 and MS constantly bashed here not long ago??? also in general there is a lot of negativity regarding the XB1. This days people are picky and i consider that as great because people can get loud and companies have to listen and improve which at the end is great for us. ;)
1. IMO the triggers were worse on the DS3, thats why fps games use the shoulder buttons instead

2. Touchpad is fine, controllers need to be unique or its just the same boring things over and over again

3. I got over this rather easily, options button replaced start and select, so its not out of place IMO.

4. I don't have sweaty hands :p

5. I have bigger hands than average asians, and the DS4 fits in my hand perfectly and the curved part helps a lot.

6. LED has never been an issue for me

7. It is what it is, vita and 3ds and the wii u gamepad have bad battery life I was simply used to it already.

on the xb1 side

1. they should have priced the controller a bit cheaper since you would need to buy batteries or a battery pack if you want to continue using it wirelessly.

2. d-pad has always been an issue for the xbox, I blame the old sidewinder controllers.

3. I dont get the point of the haptic feedback for the triggers, since I prefer playing with no vibration at all

4. To be fair the XB1 controller does have the same type of flaw the DS4 has. The Back and Start buttons replaced. I am sure it functions the same, but I don't like seeing it since I will still use 360 controller on pc games that replaced the 360 controller with the xb1 controller design

I don't agree with your views about negativity and bashing. Even if something is perfect someone somewhere will hate on it.

More like companies are forced to listen because of social media. Its no longer the vision of the game designer, which IMO makes a lot of bad games

I think is just a preference thing and what we like or dislike about a certain device. Not all the points i mentioned are a big issue to me though and not even battery even if annoying. The curved back and the bad analogs are the two top problems that makes me dislike it. For instance i have sweaty hands as i mentioned yet my thumb never slip on the XB1 analog controller else i would've lost tons of matches already since the XB1 D-Pad is terrible in my opinion.

The biggest mistake they did was try to fusion the Move controller into the awesome DS gamepad which totally destroyed the design for me. While the PS4 was designed as a gaming machine the DS4 was more about gimmicks. The XB1 was designed as a all in one machine but the gamepad was designed with gaming in mind and no gimmicks.

I agree about the price and battery. However, with just few more bucks(cheap on amazon) you can get rid of it and enjoy rechargeable batteries with stunning battery life which is what i like without the need of mod.

4. To be fair the XB1 controller does have the same type of flaw the DS4 has. The Back and Start buttons replaced. I am sure it functions the same, but I don't like seeing it since I will still use 360 controller on pc games that replaced the 360 controller with the xb1 controller design
They are still placed in the middle of the controller and there is no big issue in my opinion. My issue with the share and option buttons on the DS4 is there position as they are completely out of space in favor of the touchpad.

As for the back... it's still flat and i have good feeling with the controller.

missing the point like usual considering the beta test is using USA servers, why not limit it to USA to fix issues since the servers are right fucking here. Sure they fucked up big time, but it still makes sense.

Its a beta no point in getting upset, they want to prevent issues. We get the full beta time when it comes back so I don't see a problem at all. Would you be mad if they limited it to Japan only when this shit happened?

I'm upset because we are talking about damn Capcom here and not some random game developer. They have tons of experience and is not like is the first time they do something similar to this. F*cking up big time and just limiting the beta to a country wasn't something i expected hence why i'm updset. Sure i understand that is actually good to have it down that having a bad experience but it's a shame because even The Coalition did better with the Gears of War beta.

I'm happy they are opening the beta later but i just expected more from Capcom.
