So, post some of then. These screenshots weren't meant to be posted anywhere, but I thought a thread like this would be a good idea and, since I have to start, I'm posting a few pics of some games I've been playing lately.

I'm not embedding all the pics because it's not necessary.

The games are:

Battlefield: Bad Company 2

Booom.

Batman: Arkham Asylum

Come here, you ugly clown.

Left 4 Dead

Give Blood. Save lives.

Need For Speed: Shift

I'm good at this.

Stalker: Shadow of Chernobyl

Stalker has the most life-like sky I've ever seen in a game.

The beta is open to everyone, it has two modes. One's the normal multiplayer (with two modes in itself), the other is a "survive waves of enemy" solo+coop mode.
The Survival mode isn't a bad way to be introduced to the mechanics of the game.

I've been trying VSR at 3200x1800, just for kicks. GTA5 runs at 40fps to 60 depending on the situation. On average, I would say it's around 45.
1440p is a smooth 60fps, but I've already finished the game twice and I'm just having fun forcing a ridiculous resolution on it.
Every graphic setting is maxed except for Grass and DOF. Cause grass is heavy and fuck DOF.

I'm just really shocked at how much detail this game has. Seriously.

A common comment about Fallout 4 is that it's not a good looking game. While I personally strongly agree with the idea that it's not a well-performing game, or that it has an a badly aging engine, I strongly disagree with the idea that the game doesn't look good. It's a very pretty game. It simply needs to be able to hold a goddamn steady framerate.

I took screenshots that aim to avoid spoilers as much as possible, but they may spoil some very very minor things. I avoided plot-heavy locations too.

Heh, so Bethesda hasn't lost their touch.
Badly aged engine? This sounds oddly familiar...

The adventures of V.Red the Silver Shroud (who Piper calls Blue).

I modified my pictures to turn up the brightness, since going from in-game -> fraps -> folder made them all turn incredibly dark. This means they don't represent the game fully, but they're close.
Settings were mostly maxed out, they were already set at high by default but I turned a few of them up higher (AA, shadows, removed DOF and Chromatic). This made my FPS go from around 90 to 60, but it does stay at 60 on my 390.

The very first screenshot is with settings at default, I didn't like the Chromatic Aberration and the blur around the edges:

Rest are with what I mentioned.

I also feel like it looks a little bit better. Performance also went slightly down with the final version, so I assume they tweaked some of the default settings (the presets) so that the highest settings look better.

PSO2 now has new tier 6 graphics options, allowing you to set ambient occlusion, rim lighting and HDR tone-mapping in-game, with barely a framerate drop. Western release still nowhere in sight, SEA version hopelessly outdated.

FFX / X-2 HD Remake - Excellently done, not a full overhaul, but quite close. It looks far superior to the PS2 version, and the arranged sound track is much, much nicer. Loving it. Played at 1920x1080 with 8xFSAA, 4xSSTAA, and 16x Anisotropic Filtering. A lot of these shots make excellent wallpapers!

Playing some MGR: Revengeance tonight after having it installed when I bought my system. I love MGS and was wary of the sidestep this game took, but by god, the developers are simply masters. Really the pinnacle of hack and slash games I think, but as with the genre itself, it tends to get old. Regardless, it's a fantastic game, and it was ported to PC with great care. Having only played a couple hours, I'm pretty confident there's some solid story telling to unravel itself.

Arkham Knight on PC looks ridiculously good. I'm fortunate to have the hardware to push it and get awesome framerates, Borderless Window mode makes easy work of screen tearing and keeps it smoother than fullscreen. Unfortunately my monitor stutters a bit in any game, but I'm hoping that when I pick up an ultrawide monitor, it should make life more bearable.

Very happy with how this has turned out and I'm stunned at the effort Rock Steady put into this. Their art team is amazing.

The only downside with owning an AMD card is you don't get to experience paper or advanced smoke effects from Gameworks.

For a game that struggled so much on launch and for so long afterwards, the patching has yielded some good results. I haven't read into any outstanding issues but from what I've seen this shines so brightly. What's even more amazing is how cheap you can get this online, including all DLC.

It's such a pity that the original porting team did such a bogus job.

I've been playing the second DLC of Witcher 3. It's been pretty good so far, a fair amount of content for a "DLC" (really, an expansion).
It focuses on more open areas compared to what we've seen so far. Witcher 2 faked an open world by connecting cramped areas. Witcher 3 had an open world, but would often either hide your view with hills and mountains, or offer empty lands to look at.
This DLC actually has gorgeous landscapes for you to look at. The performance is worse than it was in the base game, but I think the trade-off is worth it.

Currently playing through Shadow of Mordor, FFX remake, and marathon finished RE: Code Veronica X on Dolphin for the first time since its DC release. Got some nice shots of the aforementioned two. Square did an absolutely beautiful job on the PC release of FFX. These make amazing wallpapers for any FFX fan. :) Highest settings, 16xAniso, 8xSSAA, 8xSSTAA, 1920x1080, never a hitch.

FFX:
