Extracting music from saturn games

I was going to post this in addition to my previous one but I thought that maybe it might be wiser to start a second topic on it. If thats a problem then pardon me please. Wasn't meant to be a bother. At any rate, here's my problem...

I'd like to go about extracting some music from a Saturn game. Now I haven't had any problems doing this before because most game music on saturn is either in the very easy to manipulate mp3/ogg/wav format or (for internal streamed stuff - aif or au). Now for the game that I'd like to rip the music from I've encountered something rather odd. Only about 10 tracks are in MP3 format. That's easy enough, but the in-game stuff is in a very odd ".SND" format that I've never seen anywhere before. I'm guessing that its streamed but to be honest I really have no clue. I know that it's music though since it's all several files titled BGM. I tried a plugin for winamp to see if it could play it but got no dice on that. I also tried windows media player and quicktime with no success. Is there a utility out there that allows you to extract Saturn music if its on the disc like this or something that may play .SND files from Saturn discs?

Any help at all would be appreciated and thanks in advance. :)

Those two have uncompressed synth audio inside. At best you can get a midi file and a soundfont out of it, but the converter tools are premature (toncnv even crashes on the first file) so you would get highly broken sound from them.

Saturn Bomberman Fight!! has a sound test mode in it so you would have more luck recording the tunes from a Saturn.

I have managed to Abstract Music and Sounds from the Sega Saturn game "Sonic Jam", This includes Every single Sound from Sonic 1 2 3 in a Uncompressed WAV Format for 100% Accurate Sound Quality.

If you wants any HQ Sounds from Sonic 1 2 3 Knuckles drop me a hint

Here is Link to a Sound I Abstracted you all should Know

I just know this streaming music recorder specially record music from streaming websites and record any sound coming from speakers, but if you extract music from games, you may get some fuzzy sound.

lol, I think its the other way Round

The Audio Format used in Sonic Jam is TIFF, which can be played like any other Audio File in Windows Media Player
