Greetings, everyone.
This is my first post here and I'm already about to bother you lot. My forgiveness.

I'm just another guy, fallen in some really rough times. When I downloaded nullDC and found that in my low end netbook it was actually functional, a light shone through these terrible, dark days.

But... I downloaded it and tried it with the sound off. Alas, later, when ready to roll, I discovered the sound is not working on my end. It is full of stutter, warped to hell and back, choppy, laggy, click-y...
It's not a matter of not being perfect, it is simply unbearable.
This strikes me as odd because the graphics are really good and many if not most games run at a solid speed.

...What can I do to improve the sound?
Not to make it crystal clear nor anything like that, just bearable.
Right now my only option is to play without sound and, well, how is that an option?
How can I prevent myself from hearing the beautiful OST of Shenmue? How can I beat my highscore in Crazy Taxi without the whip of Bad Religion? How can I boot Rez muted without insulting the gods?

I tried different configurations, raised the buffer, whatnot. Nothing happened.

I really need the inspiration and magic of the Dreamcast back into my life to have a little slice of heaven among all this misery.

Can you please help out?

Maybe a different sound plugin than Aica?
I searched back and forth and found no other.

My setup:

Acer Aspire One Cloudbook 11
Win10
Intel Celeron Processor N3050 Dual Core @1.60ghz
Intel HD Graphics
Realtek High Definition Audio
eMMC 32GB
2GB DDR3 L RAM

I now it's as bare bones as it can be, hence my surprise nullDC runs most games well, but it's the only thing that resembles a gaming system that I have these days due to my situation.

Thanks in advance and nullDC is a great feat. You guys behind it rock.

Dream On!

Cheers.
