Is there REALLY a game speed difference between 32bit / 64bit?

Hello guys, as my title says, I can't really find any difference after using a 64 bit dolphin emulator, and the its settings is the same as the 32 bit one.
I'm using the Win 7 64 bit ver., with my computer spec:
AMD X4-635@3.4G
2GRAM
9800GT

P.S. the game i'm trying to emulate is MH3

Actually, that doesn't make much sense in my opinion. Sorry, I know this thread is a little old but thought I might as well. Theoretically, 64-bit would run slower than 32-bit because it means that it has to process more colors, right? But the evedence shows otherwise (I tested it). I actually did see a 5-10 fps difference in the 64-bit Dolphin. But why is that?

I ve checked the colors that the system process....
Its still 32-bits out put...

Uhhhmmm... No. The discussion is regarding the system/OS, not the color depth. Has to do with memory management and addressable memory and such, check out the link below.

Depending on the game, Windows is faster by 10fps or more. (usually more)

It's not a big deal if you already have a rig that can run games well above full speed.

Technically x86 simply refers to a family of processors and the instruction set they all use. It doesn't actually say anything specific about data sizes. The term x86 started out as a 16-bit instruction set for 16-bit processors (the 8086 and 8088 processors), then was extended to a 32-bit instruction set for 32-bit processors (80386 and 80486), and now has been extended to a 64-bit instruction set for 64-bit processors. It used to be written as 80x86 to reflect the changing value in the middle of the chip model numbers, but somewhere along the line the 80 in the front was dropped, leaving just x86.
