My first random thought:
When I did my taxes the other day, I had a feeling that I would end up paying the Man around $1,000 like I payed last year. My taxt rep was looking through my info when he looked up and said "Do you love me?" This took me completly by surprise. Taking my agape jaw as indesicion, he asked again, "Im serious, do you love me or not?"
At this point I was planning my escape route (break his leg, leap over the cubicle and jump through the glass wall), I said "Well your.....um......ok....*tensing to run*
He said good, because I just saved your @$$ and you are a lucky b***. You owe the state $932. Wait for it, the Fed is kicking you back $934. And with some legal wrangling, I can increase the return so you can get an extra $75, which will go directly to me won't it? Now get out of here"
This site is an unresponsive mess with bugged javascript and an annoying eu-only cookie warning that breaks it even further. I reported it multiple times but...
Today while downloading games on Steam at 5-6mb/s reminded me that about 12 years ago that was my download speed but in kb! is really amazing how things has changed not to mention i'm using a mobile internet now.
Yeah, I check a download and it's like ... oh, 6GB, that'll be done while I play a quick round of Geometry Wars... not too long ago that'd take forever.
True. I used to take 4 hours+ to download a 40mb Kof98 roms. If the line dced or the server got probs when downloading, you can imagine how i looked. And imagine each hour of internet usage, i need to pay USD 1.5. (it is not really in USd, but u get the idea)

A year ago I had a glorious 150mbps connection. I decided to move a good bit out of the city and I ended up stuck with this.
It could be worse, but coming from 150mbps connection it feels terribly slow. I've seriously considered getting a load balancing router and multiple DSL lines.
Only having 16mbps has ruined next (er, current) gen gaming for me. Every time I turn on my Xbox One there is some 3GB update to install, which at 16 mbit takes longer than I have the time to wait around for.

I'm so used to the Android behavior of stopping the audio in other apps when audio starts playing in the app you're currently using that it almost annoys me that my PC doesn't do that.
@Strike105X 4.7Ghz???? Never in my life have I seen such a high clock speed... Wow. Keep a fire extinguisher handy.
In other news, I'm planning to buy a used gaming laptop in April/May, and the budget is 500 dollars (plus a few possibly).
Looking at the Asus G75VW or G55VW. The GTX 660M they have is still quite a capable card, I have a pal with the same card, it's not too bad, and still plays games from this year.
Hopefully this won't fall through.
Giving the old HTC OneX a second life as cheapskate VR viewer (the plastic viewer itself was just 5 euros). Managed to find and install a Lollipop build on it (can't find newer ones).
Also, tried both cardboard and vridge - the latter streams steamvr to a device capable of running cardboard (almost everything); nice way to test some games/vr without breaking the bank.
So rearranging my fans has granted me +10c, with the new fan i ordered for exhaust that should be here by tomorrow I expect even better, going to go wild again XD.
