So, post some of then. These screenshots weren't meant to be posted anywhere, but I thought a thread like this would be a good idea and, since I have to start, I'm posting a few pics of some games I've been playing lately.

I'm not embedding all the pics because it's not necessary.

The games are:

Battlefield: Bad Company 2

Booom.

Batman: Arkham Asylum

Come here, you ugly clown.

Left 4 Dead

Give Blood. Save lives.

Need For Speed: Shift

I'm good at this.

Stalker: Shadow of Chernobyl

Stalker has the most life-like sky I've ever seen in a game.

You know what's funny? I was thinking of creating a thread exactly like this one just yesterday. Anyways I'll create some screenshots of The Saboteur later today and post em up.
Just one rule guys, please take em yourself, don't just copy/paste from IGN or Gamespot. Also try and make innovative shots, show us a side of the games that isn't seen on Screenshots from sites like Gamespot. If you like can even highlight graphical issues within a game like horrendous clipping or something else that looks ludicrous (I'll try and get a shot of the UFO going Independence Day on Paris look the Eiffel Tower tends to get when out in the country side).

Edited my earlier post with some pics and attached some more, a few are too highlight the game's graphical shortcomings like the sky just stopping and there being plain blue. Also I didn't even have to go out into countryside to get a UFO pic of the Eiffel Tower though it looks even weirder out there cuz there's just this pillar of white coming out of the dome. No combat cuz well, I try and avoid it as much as possible.

Battlefield: Bad Company 2 is the best FPS ever made. Batman Arkham Asylum may very well be the best game of all time. This really makes me want to play those two again. :thumb:

Nice shots. :)

Erm.. no it isn't.. not even close. Its decent, however after 200 hours.. I can't be bothered with it anymore. Unlike W:ET which I've been playing for years and countless hours. It never gets boring, unlike BC2.. which imo is due to its wookie infestation and lack of actual teamwork. + EA failing to provide mod support and a decent patch that doesn't nerf balanced weapons or break something. (AKA the chat box)

Battlefield: Bad Company 2
This may be our opportunity to play a game online together since I started playing again recently. (Tho it does depend on if we can find a server without too much latency due to the distance)

Never played MW2 online.. but god damn BC2 half the time your team which are suppose to be attacking are usually camping :/ or due to the crap team balancing one side horribly outweighs the other in terms of skill.
That's why I simply find a server with good players and Favorites it. I don't like going blind in a server, not knowing if I should expect decent teamwork or just a game filled with snipers ever 5 feet. The weak point in most online game is the community, but most online games give us the tools to focus on the good parts and ignore the bad parts.

(I don't actually have any screen of BC2 right now, so I'll skip this one. Also : Civ 5.)

Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light

I was surprised by this game, it was actually quite entertaining. I've never been a huge fan of the Tomb Raider series or of Lara herself, but this was a nice little game.
Iso-view (a la diablo), simple but nice combat, a bunch of nice little puzzles, overall : good.

Mass Effect 2 DLC : Shadow Broker

The team in charge of Mass Effect 2 definitely does DLC correctly. The price is steep but the quality is DEFINITELY there. The game is also quite a visual treat in action, recommended for anyone who played Mass Effect 2 and enjoyed it. (even if the price can be a stickler)

Nehrim - Oblivion Mod

Haven't gotten very far in the main quest yet, just exploring the world, visiting dungeons, kicking asses, taking pictures. Lots of content to be found.

0_o you're playing @1600x1200? I thought you had a widescreen LCD?

Nah, I'm old fashioned. I have a somewhat-old screen with great picture quality and I can't warrant buying a new one just yet. If I saw a really really good widescreen monitor that didn't cost too much I'd go for it, but right now most screens that would be an upgrade would just cost me too much.
(I'll probably make the jump soon tho.)

My biggest problem with Nehrim is just that I absolutely hate the caves, I had more than too much of them in Oblivion and am plain sick of them so any extra content in caves is VERY unattractive to me...and just like Oblivion that's where most extra dungeons are.

You should try the mini-map mod on TESNexus btw, it has Nehrim support these days.

That'll work to Viper. Hmm, perhaps I will have to consider the game as well, it looks fun and seeing as I wont be getting a new DMC anytime soon it looks like it's going to be the only way for me to get that sort of action gameplay for a while.

i have yet to see a chicken (>_>) but you can set enemies on fire by various means. I think im still very early in the game despite playing it for around 3 and a half hours of it, the whole game might be longer than i thought...
