    Just select them as your active memory cards in ePSXe.

    I'm the the boat as the original poster, as the desire to change PS1 saves to PSP. However, I don't wanna go messing with my PSP with CWCheat just yet, as I'm an idiot and will probably mess it up. I plan on doing this once I'm done playing the crap out of my UMDs and such.

    I DO however, have some downloaded games from PSN like Final Fantasy IX and I wanna replay them with a tinkered save file cause why not. Nostalgia is callin me too. Anyways, I have this same file in two formats, MCR, and GME but I need them in the save data Format readable on my PSP.

    Here's the catch, I'm not ready to dive head first into CWCheat, cause of reasons, and I do NOT Own a PS3. There ARE Other saves I want to convert from other games, but I figure I should just focus on one for now.

    The Point
    This dropfolder has both files in it. If someone can either explain how to convert them to PSP SaveData Format WITHOUT PS3, or CWCheat or can convert it to save data format, Would be much appreciated ^^ Took me awhile to find both, even found a PSV but I can't recall where I saved it haha.

    The best place to ask for conversions is either here or on Shendo's blog, but at any rate, it's pretty trivial to convert MCR to VMP (PSP format, but the Vita also uses it) with CWCheat (the same method even works on a Vita with eCFW). Here it is:

    o_O Many Thanks! ^^ I WILL probably get around to putting CWCheat on my PSP I'm just worried about royally screwing it up, plus I gotta roll back all them pesky updates that disabled my original PSP Action Replay device a loooooooong time ago. That...was...annoying...

    Although doing that would make playing my UMDs normally kind of problematic too. *sigh* As versatile as the PSP truly is, can be a bit complicated for normal people too haha...well...normal among gamers I guess ^^;;

    No problem. There's probably not much of a point worrying about the action replay when CWCheat and similar plugins can probably provide the exact same codes/cheats, and work on 6.60/6.61, the latest firmware, but that's just my opinion.

    !!! Ok cool! Last time a about 2 years ago when I checked out CWCheat it required lower firmware versions for implementation onto the PSP Which required going through quite the ordeal... That's good to know ^^ Thanks!

    Hi, i cannot get cwcheat to load at all. nothing happends when i hold select, at best my psp crashes. I've tried a lot of different things, different versions of cwcheat. I would like a .mcs to .vpm for the file https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B2AuPnSqBLGPanRjZHhoelJ3MVU but i would much rather learn to do it myself. If you just have been using cwcheat to load a .mcs and then save in game and then go into the savedata and upload your newly made .vpm well.. first off thank you for doing all that work for everyone this far and secondly maybe you could send me your setplugins so i can try your cwcheat on my psp. i have no idea why my cwcheat isnt loading at all, not even once. it doesnt even create the .ini file
