So after i got the games, i played them on DesMuMe, since that's the only available emulator to play Pokemon White/Black on.... now since No$GBA is able to play the games now because of patches and more patches, i wanted to transfer my save from DesMuMe to No$GBA.... unfortunately i've been failing at that....

-> I Searched for this topic right here -> http://forums.ngemu.com/no-gba-discussion/134065-converting-desmume-dsv-nogba-sav.html

I can't seem to get it to work (The .DSV file is like 8MB big... so Shunyweb's converter can't seem to get it done.) Even the Export Backup Media gives me an 8MB No$GBA Sav, which isnt read by the emulator at all.

    Anyone know what to do?

not gonna happend... the save funcion for black&white in no$gba doesnt work at all. we have to wait until a code or patch fix that issue.

you can discuss that in this topic

Desmume can export the save file to SAV directly.

    Have you tried actually renaming:

    Savefile.dsm

    To

    Savefile.sav ?

that doesnt work. you could do that but also you have to open the file with a hex editor and erase the last part of the file.

Probably the same reason an increasing number of games become unsupported: No$GBA hasn't seen an update in years and it cannot process some new routines; some things not even No$Zoomer can bypass, appearantly. That and game developers have become aware of console/handheld piracy and have begun to implement countermeasures.

You can convert desmume save file of pokemon black/white to no$gba

    1)Save the game in desmume
    2)click File>export backup memory
3)insert the name of the rom as save file name and save it in battery folder of no$gba
    4)open no$gba
    there you go.Piece of cake:lol:

Did you choose No$GBA .sav as the savefile's extension?
