I'm trying to install and configure this emu to play FFVII-IX and I can't seem to get things working right. I get through the beginning of the opening great, then In gets choppy but bearable, but as soon as I get to a battle transition It freezes and won't go!:mad::mad:

    My computer specs are:
    1.6 GHZ
    2 GB ram
Intel(R) Graphics Media Accelerator Driver for Mobile Report
    DirectX* Version: 10.0
    Physical Memory: 2037 MB
    Minimum Graphics Memory: 8 MB
    Maximum Graphics Memory: 358 MB
Graphics Memory in Use: 147 MB
    Processor: x86 family 6 Model 15 Stepping 13
    Processor Speed: 1596 MHZ
Accelerator in Use: Mobile Intel(R) 965 Express Chipset Family
    Video BIOS: 1436
Current Graphics Mode: 1280 by 800 True Color (60 Hz)

I need help on an exact configuration and which plugins etc. to use. Plus should I use the files in .bin or iso or another way. And wut programs should I use to convert it. Also could this .bin file just be the problem and I should redo it? I need help Im just a noob at emus.:dead:

With that Intel IGP, stick to PEOpS Soft or Pete's D3D DX6.

Although, with that processor speed... maybe is better for you to
use the pSX emulator instead of ePSXe.

As for the format, check the How to make perfect backups guide.

Is there a PSX emu that has better graphics than the PSX but doesn't need as mush processing power as the ePSXe?

epsxe needs less power then psx when you use the right plugins.
