i was using psxeven to play ff8, and i had a save file, and it was working. recently i put all my emulators on a data dvd. ever since then, i havent been able to get the memory card to work. the game keeps telling me that there isnt any data, and then i go and check the mem card from the main window and it shows up.
i also tried to move it back to my computer to see if that helped, but it didnt. is it possible that the data was damaged while the dvd was being burned?

It's possible, but highly unlikely. When you open the memory card with the little memory manager, your file is there, yeah? Are you sure you have that particular memory card selected as the one that PSXeven is using, as opposed to just the stock one?

You can also move that memory card to other emulators and see if it works.

it happened with me when i used in a pen drive. i saved the game, when i quitted and came back to play, there was no saves. But the .mcd (memory card) showed the last modification date right. o.o
i tryed to pick up from memcard manager but nothing appears.
    can i rescue that?
