    Hi,
    I need help regarding the monster rancher 2 playing system.
    For anyone who've played it before, you'll know about the "stone disc" system.
    Basically it's a system where you can insert any CD to "unlock" a monster inside it.

    Obviously this wouldn't be a problem with the actual PS console but I'm at a loss of finding a way to use this with PSXeven.

    I'm playing with a .img file so I use the "load ISO" function.

    How do you make the emulator recognize a new "CD" has been inserted? I've tried everything and it always says that the CD that I have is the "monster rancher 2" CD.

    Can this be done or am I looking at a dead end?

    Thanks in advance.

    When it asks you to change disc, press escape and then go to Force Change Disc.

    It's inside this batch. Just uncheck the stuff you don't want.

    i've had the same problem, except i'm using ePSXe and it says to reinsert the monster rancher 2 CD. so then i reload the ISO and it says the same thing. i think it has a problem picking back up and doesn't recognize the file. can anyone give me some helpful hints on this too since i'm not using PSXeven it's a little different

    monster rancher 2 shrine

    i found a thing on wiki answers that says this :

    Google: CDR Mooby 2.8

    Download it and extract the dll file into \plugins.

    1) Run ePSXe.

    2) Alt + C -> C or Config -> Cdrom.

    3) Select "Mobby2 cd disk image driver 2.8" and click ok.

    4) Run MR2 in such way: File -> Run Cdrom. Browse to your img file for MR2.

    5) Go to shrine (in-game). When it ask you to change CD, press esc.

    6) File -> Change Disk -> CDROM.

    7) Choose the img file you want the shrine to read.

    8) Change back to MR2 img when your done. File -> Change Disk -> CDROM.

    9) Done. Different monsters everytime.

    now ive tryed this but im no computer expert and definitely no expert on emulators(just started using it the other day actually) but it doesnt work for me but maybe one of you could try it and tell me if it works... cause it seemed like it was on the brink of working

    Yes it does! Thank you very much by the way. I tried it out and though I didn't have the correct trainer level it at least re-loaded the MR2 disc so I could continue.
