First laptop since 2007, m3 6y30 on an 11" 1080p screen with 4gb ram and 128g ssd. Not great write speed but read speed is good.

This is going to be my portable cad box and from my experience with the m5y10 it's going to be great.

    Recently purchased the
    TP-Link UH-720...

    and the dual charging station...

works perfectly for my setup using Inputmapper...

    2x DS4 controllers
    2x DualShock4 USB Wireless Adapters
1x Energizer DS4 Dual Charging Station

Thinking of getting double what I have now...
    4x DS4 controllers
    4x DualShock4 USB Wireless Adapters
2x Energizer DS4 Dual Charging Stations.

As it stands being able to play Street Fighter with 2x Wireless controllers with one child at a time is hella fun.
But I just can't help but imagine 4 wireless controllers in some Mario Kart action with the kids.

    mahhahahahahahahahahahahahaha

Below is a brief overview and breakdown of the differences between wireless Bluetooth dongles and the Sony Wireless Adapter.

----------------------------------------------- Bluetooth ------ Official DS4 Wireless USB adapter
Form Factor------------------------------- Low profile ---- Somewhat large dongle
    Maximum supported controllers ----- ~4 --------------- 1
Audio support ----------------------------- No -------------- Headphones and Microphone
    Average pooling frequency ------------ 650hz --------- 130hz
Supports exclusive mode -------------- Yes ------------ Yes
    ~ 10ft signal strength -------------------- ~70% --------- +90%
    ~ 20ft signal strength -------------------- ~40% --------- ~75%
~ 30ft signal strength -------------------- Unstable ----- ~50% (still very useable even with audio)
Transmit power ---------------------------- 2.5mw -------- Unknown but suspect also 2.5mw but with higher gain antenna

When I read about it beating the (now old) Titan X at a fraction of its cost, I just couldn't resist.

But now I'm thinking it might be an overkill for my 1080p 60hz setup cause I won't be getting a new monitor anytime soon. :\

Actually, recent drivers for these cards have triple buffering, eliminating tearing. Plus at just 1080p they will fit the bill for quite some time.

It seems to have no issue running Witcher 3 with hairworks at constant 60fps with 1080p (my GTX970 can't do this) so I guess it's well worth my money.

Thanks, I had MSI GTX 970 before this too and it was amazing. BTW, if you have a MSI gaming motherboard you can manage it and the GPU with the same app.

Do you guys even play any games that make use of all this power?
I assembled my PC to play games and ended up editing videos on it and rendering work.
A 10 minute 1080p 60fps video takes about an hour to render.

Got two noctua fans, to improve my airflow, the 120mm one is for exhaust, needed something strong to keep up with my Noctua NH-D15 cooler, the smaller one i got for a small boost in intake.

Noctua really won me over with their quality, i've ended up a fan (pun not intended). And it was also surprising to see they come with a 6 year warranty, i had my doubts paying so much for a fan, and didn't think it would keep up with the NH-D15, but its more OP then i thought and now felt it was worth every penny.

    NICE!

The Onyx is a beautiful piece of gear, I grabbed the Aura as it was being taken off shelves, but that is what I was going to go for next. The sound from that thing is something to behold (I swear I love it more than my home theater sometimes).
