Back in 25th August 2013 to be precise. My login details were stolen, probably a lot of other peoples as well, why was nobody informed about this?

That is really lousy guys, really really lousy.

Attached a picture of my results (which I didn't expect) from leakedsource.com

I would suggest anybody else who was here then checks and changes any passwords as required, just in case somebody does make use of it.

not surprising, the site's had issues a number of times. Changed my password not too long ago.

    Thanks for notifying us, refraction.

Verticalscope owns this site now, I guess they're not to blame for this, they probably never knew.

welp, I'm gonna change my password(s) again.

NGEMU.com has: 1 result(s) found. This data was hacked on approximately 2013-08-25 00:00:00 - well you can include me in the 2013 hack :p

VerticalScope Network (Vbulletin) (939 Websites) has: 1 result(s) found. This data was hacked on approximately 2016-02-01 00:00:00 - and this, but I think I changed all my passwords back in march

I have learned something...one of my fake names I use for 'certain' sites is used a lot for sites I have never heard of

also that site doesn't really seem accurate I don't even have an AVSforum account as none of my emails are recognized in the forgot password thing

I also found some sites I can't even recall registering at.... one is some mmorpg company called Snailgames. I know I visited their site but I don't think I ever registered.

no I limit what sites I make an account at if I don't need to. I would never have an account at avsforum as I would rather lurk for answers.

    I never made an account at MYCE.com, Flashflashrevolution.com, Consolespot.net, Techsupportforum.com, MySpace.com, Neopets.com, Fling.com, HeroesOfNewerth.com, R2Games.com, etc :p

Welp seems my hotmail account has been hacked in a lot of sites.

Luckily I don't have any work info linked to that.
But I better change some passwords.

Didn't know DC emu was hacked too.

I remember being banned around 2013 for apparently posting homosexual porn on the bin or something.
    I didn't actually do this.

A user did admit to it to hijacking my ngemu account though, a certain indian bin user.

lol you sure? :p Might have been somebody pretending to be you, especially with "fling.com" :p

I guess you could test if it's making it up, just make up an email address to put in and see if it goes "yeh ngemu, myspace, twitter, blah.com" etc :p

Edit: Hm, nope. My post was made earlier. Or the crawled info is showing a false date.

That seriously explains a lot of things ... yeah, yeah, I used my NGEmu password for lots of sites I rarely visit.

Even my account was hacked around the same time. Also the manner the other Admin. handled that forced me to stop visiting this site.

    Hey all,

I can't speak to any breach in 2013, but the 2016 breach I can confirm. Data was scraped from a developer for a third party plugin for vBulletin sites. This affects many more than just our sites.

If you're a member of one of our communities on vB, you'll have noticed the announcements and password resets going on there. We will be issuing resets across all of our communities in the coming weeks as well.

It's never a bad idea to update your passwords, and definitely use unique passwords across your accounts, especially if they share an email or username. There are password managers to help us remember all these passwords we need nowadays.

    Thanks everyone

^ After reading your post I found out Verticalscope owns another community I've been active at recently. My curiosity prompted me to check as I was recently required to change my password over at Social Anxiety Support forums.

I would change my password now but I'm afraid I might have to change it again.

Unfortunately, I don't have an exact timeframe for when a reset will be coming down for you all. You could always just make a small change to your current password in the meantime, and then when the resets come through, change it to something altogether new and unique.

My account was also hacked, but this seems to be recent, as in July 7th. Not sure who it was, but this isn't the first time my name has been stolen before in order to make me look bad. It's also happened on reddit. This time, my password got changed by the hacker so I cannot log into my original account as of now. If you look at my actual profile, you'll see my avatar was changed to a naked chick along with my profile being linked to pornhub and other immature comments. I'm rarely here, so hacking this account doesn't really do much damage.

I wouldn't be surprised if this attack was by that crazy feminist who doxxed me last time (I noticed they like to do this when you disagree with them or get on their shitlist). Just goes to show you how immature they really can be. I really wish these liberal retards would get a life.

So I'd appreciate it if an admin could please fix it. Thanks.

    Shogun.

EDIT: I missed the admin's post. The 2016 hack doesn't just effect me. Since I was getting attacks before, I assumed it was a lone individual aimed at attacking me. Still, I can't log in because my password was changed.
