Well then it must be broken. I'll check it someday... atm i'm too tired to even think about coding.
I made some adjustments to the most recent svn version again.
This build is a little faster and the timestretcher has been modified.
I changed the behaviour a little and adjusted the soundtouch parameters.
The result is an overall better sound, so enjoy
As with the last build, please do not bug gigaherz about problems.
But if you have any, feel free to tell me, i'll look into them
so how is this plugin going, is it still failing epicly with every little break gigaherz has intentially put in to annoy pcsx2 noobs?
Hmm, i only use this currently. Zerospu2 may be a little faster, but this one sounds better.
It also has working slides, so my xenosaga games sound right
rama2: can you have a look at recording feature as well (why it crashes and why its not working correctly) since giga is sorta busy these days?
Recording feature? Dunno about that
Why not use zerospu2 for some videos, if that works.
There are many funny sounds when you walk with your character. The walking sounds like "quiek quiek" .Difficult to explain but this are not the orginal sounds
This is a known problem, happens with other square games as well.
Thanks for reporting it anyway
As a note, I'm clueless to what could possibly cause it. I have gone through the audio decoding code over and over before, and it all seemed fine every time... :/
This makes some really great improvements speed wise for Shin Megami tensai Nocturne: The piano music in the beginning is still skipping/doubling but its much shorter than before. I say this is a real step forward. Please keep developing
I tried all sounds plugins available on this forum to get a ok sound for pal ff12 and the only one who gave good things is that mod you did. I don t know anything about coding etc but this mod is the best sound plugin for my species.Gratz and thx GiGaHeRz and rama2 !
ps: sry for my bad english speaking
cheers~ would have been awesome for ASIO to work
My sound chip doesn't support ASIO natively, so the onyl way form e to do asio was using asio4all, which isn't really a realistic way to write the ASIO code. I stopped coding it when the DSound module was good enough, mostly because I didn't feel I needed it anymore.
i'm not an audiophile and I don't really have much money to spare atm (/me hints at the donation button in his googlepages site).
Just letting you know that your SPU2 plugin is the only one that plays the character voices correctly in Ichigo Mashimaro (SLPS-25547)
Nice to hear
thanks for your sharing
I'm playing FFXII and the sound is delayed for about 5 sec.. What should I do?
Core 2 duo E6850 @ 3.0
4Gb Patriot Ram
ATI HD 4870
First goto inis/ and delete your spu2ghz.ini.
With your pc specs, you should be able to set the buffer size down to 1024 just fine.
Also make sure you are using the DSound output module.
With those settings the sound delay should be down to a few ms.
Ok.. That worked, but now the steps sounds like a "bip"....
It's a known bug. I dont' know how to fix it.
They didnt' do it before?
