Which do you prefer : Mortal Kombat or Street Fighter ?
It depends on the version. I haven't played Mortal Kombat X or Street Fighter 5. I did like Mortal KJombat 9 and Ultra Street Fighter 4. I'd guess Street Fighter (Ultra 4) has better online than Mortal Kombat 9, but I'm not big into online. Street Fighter 5 is almost an online only experience. I'm unsure about Mortal Kombat XL.
I am all about serious and competitive fighting game scenes + fighting games with good fighting system.
So, i prefer Street Fighter.
Blazblue? I haven't enjoyed SF since SFA3; and as for MK, even to this day, it still feels extremely stiff (same goes for Injustice)~.
I play Injustice now, cause I like the DC universe and the story mode is nice, but yeah, agreed on it being stiff. Same with MK, which I've played since MK1 on Amiga. It has always been about fatalities anyhow, altho I liked Conquest mode in MK Deception quite a lot.
Injustice is fun as a single player game, I dunno about multiplayer as the Steam version sucks at online and Charline, my girlfriend, refuses to play against me on any fighting game that I've played too much like Injustice.
Dead or Alive 5 and killer instinct are the only ones that i found entertaining to play lately, but i do want to pick up and invest time in the new guilty gear xrd and BlazBlue. I don't like neither the new mk, and sf5 was a disappointement.. i wish i never would have bought it.
I'm hooked on DOA5 and enjoy BlazBlue Chronophantasma. If my PC could run them, I'd love Killer Instinct and I have MK XL for when I can run it.
Paratech what's your processor? And what's your gpu again ?
SF all the way.
-PC: AMD Quad Core A8-3800 Accelerated Processor, 16GB DDR3 Ram, Nvidia GeForce 730GT 1 GB Video card, 1 TB hard drive, 500 GB hard drive, Supermulti DVD Burner, Wireless Lan 802.11 b/g/n, Beats audio Studio Quality sound, Win 10.
I highlighted both.
On mobile, so I don't see the sig, probably can't access my pc till tomorrow . Hmm... I dunno what to say about ki like that though..... Cpu aside, which either with some overclocking at worst should be alright, the videocard might be troublesome, if you aren't capped you could try it 720p, since it has a similar scheme to doa core fighters. But if your capped it might not be worth the risk.
Street Fighter. Its just more accessible for me. The basic controls have not changed that much since Street Fighter II.
SF. I never liked MK.
...but I prefer Virtua Fighter.
Street Fighter is what comes out of a dog's ass.
Just like anime.
When considering the whole package, nothing beats the first two Soul Calibur installments.
Street fighter 4 and its updates are quite good, was a good evolution of the series.
I can't recommend SFV though, haven't played enough to do so.
I like Mortal Kombat X.
I had so much fun playing 4 with hyuga and @ruantec, sfv however... I like the visuals, like a lot, but despite that the game just doesn't stick with, it isn't much fun... Its one of the few games i regret getting...
I loved the individual character endings in the previous Street Fighter. I suck at online play with the series and have little interest in it.
It saddens me that Street Fighter V is just multiplayer with a mediocre story added and 2 seasons of DLC already.
Even Killer Instinct sells with 3 seasons for $39.99. If I decide to forgive Microsoft for taking my Win 10 license away, I might get KI on a sale.
But I doubt I'll ever buy SFV period.
