I noticed it was already mentioned in the first post. Didn't notice before. Anyway there's a lack of music composition software there, so I'll name Finale as my favourite. There's also guitar pro, but it's much more restrictive if you don't care about guitars and tabs.

Personally i enjy X-Change PDF Viewer.

For torrents i found qBittorrent to be a good transition from uTorrent.

Xilisoft Video Converter for more simple conversions and resamples, its a plus that it supports AMD APP, i use it to convert movies for my phone, unfortunately it doesn't work with FRAPS, on the other hand it works decent with MKV's.

ANyVideoConverter i use this to convert FRAPS videos.

ImgBurn best burner software i used and its free.

Woo, such an comprehensive list!! Many many thanks. I guess now my PC is going to be well geared up :)
And just one small add-on to this: I think now it is also necessary to have a system backup tool for our own PC. As a person who just survived from a virus attack and I thought I just lost all my data. I even believe that it is VERY necessary to have.
Data Backup: EaseUs backup. And it is Free!!

    Glad it could be useful.

The list is a bit old but you can grab the updated versions of most apps on filehippo or their own homepage.
